Because mastering model-based systems engineering (MBSE) requires practical application, the course drew on Kolb’s Experiential Learning Theory. Learners could test and apply concepts using a SysML simulator, supporting active experimentation. The curriculum was also divided into 20 focused subtopics, helping reduce cognitive load and making the complex subject easier to process.
