Bookingkit, a German SaaS startup offering a handy digital solution for tour, activity, and attraction providers in Europe (booking procedure digitalization, communication with clients, and more)

Goal

The main goal was to promote Bookingkit’s services and raise awareness of its software solutions. Targeted actions included visiting the Bookingkit website and requesting a free demo.

Challenges

By the end of 2021, the Blue Carrot team was asked to create a multifunctional video for use as both traditional advertising and as an explainer on the company’s website and social media platforms. The mood was intended to be energetic, engaging, and friendly.Β 

Our video needed to explain the problem that Bookingkit’s services addressed, clearly outline the benefits of using the service, and encourage viewers to request a demo.Β 

The original promotional and explainer video was to be in English, followed by French, Italian, and Spanish subtitles, along with a German voiceover. Additionally, we had to consider video references provided by Bookingkit and the client’s corporate colorsΒ 

What we did

Crafting a character-driven narrative
The storytelling in this video centers on the journey of an engaging representative of the target audience. She is the dedicated director of a tourist attraction who aims to provide customers with the best experience possible while seeking ways to optimize her workflow for scaling.

Implementing visual metaphors
To enhance video clarity, we used symbols. The character’s flight represents her company’s commitment to modern client experiences. Space rockets imply client projects will soar with Bookingkit. Scientific research elements metaphorically reflect the thoughtful work behind Bookingkit services.

Tackling common pain points
Sometimes, digitalization turns into a nightmare for tourist businesses. In our video, we reassure viewers that Bookingkit’s interface contains everything they need, as well as being intuitive and easy to integrate.

Results

The Blue Carrot team spent four weeks creating the promotional and explainer video for Bookingkit. The project involved a producer, a screenwriter, an illustrator, a motion designer, and a sound designer. The team received favorable feedback from the client.
