Verity, family banking for youth (8β18 years); prepaid card and money management app for children and their parents.
To guide Verity users through the home screen features and prove to users that the Verity app is a handleable and intuitive tool for family money management.
Every parent has to teach their child a responsible attitude towards money, but not everyone can imagine resolving the issue with a handy app. So why not reveal and explain the opportunities a prepaid card and a family management application can provide parents?Β
When the Verity app was preparing to launch, the team approached Blue Carrot to create a series of animated onboarding tutorials, each designed to introduce users to the appβs features and interface shortcuts. Since Verity caters to both adults and children, we developed two versions of the videos to address the different interface designs for each user group. Additionally, we maintained the app’s pixel art aestheticsβspecifically isometric pixel artβas the visual foundation for the tutorials, ensuring consistency with Verityβs existing branding (check @verityapp on Instagram). The videos were crafted to be concise, clear, and engaging, making sure they were both informative and fun for users.
The Verity UI guides serve a dual purpose: explaining the appβs registration, functions, and financial operations, while also drawing new users to the platform. Blue Carrot animated Verityβs social media elements and app UI, crafting a story around a nuclear family with two children who receive pocket money.Β
The first video, targeting adults, explains the “parent” version of the app in a light-hearted, easy-to-understand way, avoiding complex financial terms. The entire project, including storyboard creation, animation, and audio design, was completed in 4 weeks, with the episode also released in Arabic.
