About the client

Mystery Tag (for the Farmland game) (MysteryTag, https://en.mysterytag.com, 2024), a Cyprus-based company specializing in mobile games.

Goal

To effectively promote the client’s mobile game and increase user engagement through a targeted video.

Challenges

Mystery Tag needed simple yet intriguing videos to present its new game to customers. The video had to be short for advertising on social media and app marketplaces where users have a short attention span. In addition, the task was to showcase an already-developed game (Farmland) so users could see the game’s advantages, such as high-quality, eye-pleasing 3D graphics, a handy interface, and intuitive tasks at each game level.

What we did

Using 3D for cost-effective content
We streamlined video production, saving time and costs while still delivering visually compelling videos by reusing already created 3D models. This approach allowed us to focus on enhancing the gameplay experience without creating entirely new assets from scratch.

Expanding the campaign across games
After successfully creating a 30-second demo for Farmland, we extended the campaign to include videos for two other Mystery Tag gamesβ€”Harvest and Climb the Mountain. Each video followed a similar structure, adapting the core gameplay elements to highlight the unique aspects of each game while maintaining a cohesive visual style across the series.

Crafting engaging gameplay-focused videos
The Farmland demo was entirely based on the game’s actual gameplay, providing an authentic and immersive experience. We used the game’s built-in storytelling and 3D models to showcase key features, such as high-quality graphics and intuitive gameplay.

Polished, Ready-to-Publish Videos
Our team produced three fully polished, ready-to-publish videos in just six weeks. These videos were optimized for social media and app marketplaces, crafted to capture and hold the attention of users with short attention spans.
