Duration:
85 seconds

About the client

Supplyframe is a tech company founded in 2003. Headquartered in Los Angeles, with offices in Austin, Shanghai, and other cities worldwide. The company works at the intersection of creativity and technology, providing clients, such as electronic component suppliers, distributors, and manufacturers, with innovative digital tools for smooth interaction and business development.

Goal

Create a video for Supplyframe as part of a global promo campaign for their Shift Left product. The explainer video demonstrates to potential customers how the product works and can benefit them, including reducing engineering risk and lowering hardware production costs.

Challenges

Shift Left is a niche tech product that is difficult to explain to a potential customer due to its complexity and non-material nature. Therefore, engaging with a specific audience of engineers, equipment production stakeholders, and tech startups was essential without getting too simple in terms of language or overwhelming them with details. The video had to be brief, include a clear message, and convince viewers to opt for Supplyframe to outpace competitors and save budgets.

What we did

✅ Full-cycle explainer video production based on the client’s voice-over (VO).

✅ 2D motion graphics that follow the client’s references and existing branding.

✅ Comprehensive storytelling that translates the VO into visuals and emphasizes the potential positive impact of the Shift Left solution on the viewer’s business.

Project breakdown

Blue Carrot developed a smooth and minimalistic visual story to draw more attention to crucial video statements.

A blue palette and high-tech style contribute to Supplyframe visual recognition and add an innovative glance to the video.

Text messages in the frame include figures and terms to make client’s business prospects visible and inspiring.

Results

Blue Carrot’s team created the 2D motion graphics, which include live-shot videos integrated into several scenes. The video explainer can be used for social media campaigns and website pages and adapted for smaller advertising campaigns online or public presentations.

Even though the team had to work with ready-made VO, it integrated it natively so that the final result looked coherent and engaging.

No-character visual storytelling based on abstract forms and text messages allowed us to guide viewers through complicated tech concepts and convey the essence of Supplyframe’s product.
